Corporate lawyer with experience in contractual, civil, corporate, labor, and tax matters. His expertise includes negotiating and executing contracts of all types, particularly commercial, service, industrial, and distribution contracts, as well as the incorporation, maintenance, restructuring, and transformation of companies.

His experience extends to assisting large, medium, and small companies, both domestic and international, in sectors such as industrial, free zones, and services, among others.

His work ranges from preparing comprehensive strategies for managing legal projects to performing various actions required during their course. This includes conducting due diligence, providing assistance with financial aspects, negotiating contract terms, and managing and obtaining permits and licenses. Additionally, he offers advice on civil matters to ensure a holistic approach to executed projects, and on tax matters to ensure that his clients can maximize their benefits under current legislation, including leveraging tax incentives.

  • Miguel has supported a Central American multinational company in structuring contracts for the exploitation of its franchise and the expansion of its business into the Dominican Republic.
  • He has also assisted a U.S.-based multinational company in negotiating and terminating its brand representation contract in the country.

  • Miguel assisted in the establishment of an Israeli company in the Dominican Republic to introduce a free zone company into the market, helping to prepare all corporate documentation to that effect.
  • He has supported clients in modifying and restructuring corporate entities, including reorganizing and distributing capital.

  • Miguel assisted in the due diligence process, negotiation, sale, and subsequent real estate transfer of a property intended for establishing a private educational institution in our country.
